The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 ATEK is the abbreviation for Advanced T actical Ergonomic K it and stands for its features. Compared to the standard model, the ATEK is equipped with various features that clearly emphasize handling and user-friendliness. Specifically, this means the following:
The ATEK has an ergonomic hand guard with an angled foregrip. For faster magazine changes, an improved magazine funnel and an extended magazine release lever were installed. It must be emphasized that this improvement is really striking and can be clearly seen in a direct comparison of the products.
The gearbox for this S-AEG was developed entirely by ASG in-house. This is a completely new housing development, but many of the internals are compatible with the standard V2 / V3 gearboxes. The housing is reinforced in many places and made of sturdy aluminum using the CNC process. All standard components have been tuned so that the Gearbox can handle an M130 tuning spring without any problems. This is particularly interesting because of the quick-change spring mechanism. This means the spring can be replaced in just under a minute. The highlight of the EVO 3, however, is the built-in ECU switching unit. The battery voltage is therefore transferred directly to the motor without a manual switch. The EVO 3 also does not have a cut-off lever, as everything is efficiently controlled via the ECU. Further advantages of the Electronic Control Unit are the monitoring of the battery voltage, which is important for LiPo batteries, an extra short trigger path and the prevention of the dreaded gear jam. An ASG Ultimate Basic Motor was installed as a motor, which ensures reliable winding of the spring. Like a real weapon, the EVO 3 stops firing when its magazine is empty and requires the bolt catch to be activated after a reloaded magazine is inserted.
Like the other models, the ASG version comes with a folding stock, a Picatinny rail and an adjustable hop-up unit. Further features include the open, adjustable sights and a flash hider with an 18 mm thread.
