The G&G TR16 MBR series is the further development of the popular GC16 series. The TR16 has a metal body with a modern design. The built-in M-Lok handguard is also made of metal and has a continuous upper RIS rail. Adjustable metal flip-up visors are already attached. An interesting feature of the main body is the magazine release and the custom fire selector in an ambidextrous design. The attached Tac grip with ergonomic shape and roughened surface ensures a good grip even in bad weather.
The stock of this rifle runs on an aluminum stock tube with 6 positions. The shaft itself is the current G&G GOS-V3 version made of stable composite plastic. The attached rubber butt plate ensures that the rifle is held comfortably and securely in position. This sits on a swivel joint and can therefore be turned to the side. This means that the battery can be changed quickly and without tools.
As the first airsoft guns from the G&G program, the G&G MBR 556 series is equipped with the completely newly developed G2H gearbox for the first time. The new ETU Mosfet unit, which is around 50% smaller but offers exactly the same performance as the previous version, has a built-in micro speaker that e.g. B. emits warning beeps, should the battery fall below a certain voltage. The gearbox housing has also been completely revised and is 70% more stable than the previous version - the reliable and low-friction 8mm ball bearings have remained. The bevel gear of the well-known steel gear set has been revised and a cable protection protects the cables from the gears. The gearbox is powered by a powerful G&G iFrit 25K motor in the long-type version. A spring quick-change system is also available. This allows the shooting performance to be adjusted quickly. The series shot performance is given by the built-in M120 tuning spring from G&G with approx. 1.4 joules.
A special feature of the new gearbox is a built-in micro switch, which detects when the magazine is empty. After the last fired BB, the TR16 MBR 556WH will not fire again until a freshly loaded TR16 magazine has been inserted. This creates an even more realistic gaming experience.
