The classic layout of the sharp CZ Shadow 2 is probably the second most replicated handgun shape in the world, right behind the classic American Browning-designed 1911.
The Shadow 2 is the contemporary successor to the CZ75 sidearm from the mid-1970s, when the Iron Curtain separated the Soviet Union from western nations. The CZ75 pistol was mainly used as a sidearm for the military and police in Eastern Bloc countries.
Developed by top competitive shooters, the Shadow 2 is a well-balanced handgun built for speed and accuracy. The ASG CZ Shadow 2 airsoft pistol takes its cues from its real steel counterpart and offers the same great features. The carriage is made from anodized aluminum and has a less rounded and more angular design with a slight weight increase due to the wider carriage. The added weight and design of the slide improves recoil management and allows for more accurate shooting.
Deeper and more pronounced cuts on the bolt provide the shooter with a firmer grip when pulling the bolt. Additionally, the pronounced checkering of the front and rear grips combined with the thinner profile CNC machined zinc scales promote better pistol grip wrap. The Shadow 2's trigger guard has also been lengthened for easier trigger access and a superior gloved shooting experience.
The fully licensed Shadow 2 also features a new grip angle cut that deepens on the beavertail and a new undercut on the trigger guard. These grip cuts allow the Shadow 2 to sit more firmly in the shooter's hand and promote better recoil management.
An enlarged magazine catch is adjustable with three available positions that can be adjusted with just an Allen key. The magazine catch is also profiled more outwards, which gives the shooter positive confirmation when pressing the release button. The Shadow 2's recoil spring guide is made of high quality stainless steel for durability.
The Shadow 2 comes with a fiberglass front sight and an adjustable rear sight. Powered by a CO2 cartridge housed in a 26-round magazine, the Shadow 2 delivers a hard, consistent kick. Gas magazines and extended capacity magazines are also available separately.
