This electrically powered airsoft on the SR15 platform is the combination of G&G's latest gear technology, their respected, durable build quality and a fully licensed design from Knight's Armament Corporation, who have been manufacturing firearms for military, law enforcement and civilian use since 1982.
Version 2 of the Electronic Trigger Unit (ETU) newly installed in the Knight's Armament SR25 is almost 50% smaller than before and ensures even faster response and an extremely high rate of fire. Annoying gear jams are finally a thing of the past, no matter how quickly the trigger is pulled in a row. In addition, in contrast to many other S-AEGs, the ETU offers a clean pressure point where the shot always breaks in the same place. The technically greatly improved G2 Gearbox of the Knight's Armament SR15 offers a spring quick-change system. However, the gearbox must be removed from the weapon for use. An aluminum nozzle with two O-rings ensures optimal sealing and particularly constant energy. The cylinder head, also made of aluminium, is also equipped with two O-rings. The G2 gearbox is around 70% thicker and higher than the normal gearbox that G&G uses in the CM16 and GC16 series models. This significantly increases stability and durability. The bevel gear has also been redesigned and reduces heat development and increases performance. A special highlight of the Knight's Armament SR25 is the so-called G&G Firearm Simulation System. This ensures that you can only shoot if there is actually a magazine in the gun and it is filled with BB's. The empty mag detection system prevents empty shots and thus ensures a much more realistic feeling. Furthermore, the service life of the gearbox can be significantly increased by this system.
Externally, this rifle is characterized by a robust construction made of high-quality CNC-machined aluminum and alloys. The handguard is a CNC-machined aluminum design with M-LOK, a full-length 20mm RIS top rail, and QD sling sockets on either side for quick attachment or removal of a carry strap. The upper receiver is also all-metal construction and features a 20mm top rail for optics with a set of folding sights, as well as ambidextrous controls and Knight's Armament markings. The lower receiver has controls on both sides for the fire selector switch, the magazine release. This makes it suitable for both left- and right-handers. The rear of the rifle is equipped with a length-adjustable crane stock.
