The G&G SMC-9 is based on the body of the GTP 9 pistol and now has a futuristic metal SMG kit with a polymer stock. The SMC stands for Sub Machine Carbine. The flash hider sits on a standard 14mm left-hand thread for attaching tracers or dummy silencers. The clamping lever, which can be operated from both sides, is integrated into the aluminum handguard with M-LOK system. A QD Sling mount can be mounted on the left side. The case ejection window is located further back on both sides. When firing, the right ejection window opens by default, but can be switched from right to left. The safety button is located below the slide stop on both sides and the lever for disassembly is in front of it. A metal bracket for a rifle sling is attached in the rear area. This can be swapped from left to right using two screws. The folding stock made of polymer plastic, which is locked in place by a magnet on the right side of the housing, completes the picture. The top of the SMC is equipped with a 30.5 cm long Picatinny rail on which metal rear sights and front sights are attached. both sights are fully adjustable and removable.
The long magazine holds almost 50 BBs and has an enlarged inlet valve that makes filling gas up to three times faster than with conventional gas magazines. As with the GTP9, the hop-up is adjusted via the outer barrel using a tool located in the handle. Of course, the ceramic valve is also installed here, which largely prevents ice crystals due to its fast rotation and thus counteracts the cool down effect.
