GBB magazines offer the advantage of a very realistic recoil simulation as they use the gas to recoil the weapon's breech. This makes shooting with an airsoft gun much more realistic and fun.

Also, GBB magazines typically offer a higher capacity than Co2 magazines as they are able to store more gas and therefore fire more BBs before needing to be refilled.

Co2 magazines offer the benefit of increased firing power and accuracy as the carbon dioxide operates at high pressures. This makes them especially useful for snipers or players who want to aim at long ranges.
