The new Taginn AFG-4 Paintball & Airsoft Training Fragmentation Grenade is only 11.5cm long and is significantly smaller and more compact than its big brother, the AFG-6. Thanks to the compact design, you can not only carry more grenades on your equipment at the same time, but the throwing behavior also improves significantly due to the changed center of gravity.
It is also an interesting and, above all, inexpensive alternative to the previous models.
The Taginn AFG-4, like the other models, works with a realistic rocker arm and convincingly real handling and function.
The Taginn AFG-4 fragmentation grenade basically has the same casing and propellant charge as the FBG-4 Flashbang grenade, except that it is also filled with fragments (in this case organic BBs or peas) that create a scattering effect and also targets out of play at a distance of up to 15 meters.
Otherwise, this grenade works like a real hand grenade, just in a weaker form. It was specially developed for use on paintball and airsoft fields and is ideal for getting the opponent out of a shooting range or as a "door opener" before entering a room.
The AFG-6 fragmentation grenade is released like a real grenade, simply grasp the grenade and the bracket tightly, pull the safety pin and throw the grenade away. When you let go of the safety lever, the grenade triggers and explodes after a delay of about 3.5 seconds, just like the original.
