Like its popular predecessor, the compact AAP-01C is also visually based on a well-known pistol with the designation MK4 from an American weapons manufacturer. The shortened front end in particular makes the pistol particularly easy to handle and practical to use. The Action Army AAP-01C can work with many magazines from different manufacturers in the G17 design. But CO2 magazines can also be used with the AAP-01C without any problems.
Of course, Action Army is once again using the well-known and particularly durable Action Army polymer composite plastic for the compact pistol. What is particularly striking about the AAP-01C is the compensator attached to the front with a short tactical 21mm rail and integrated fiber optics in orange. The compensator also runs flush with the 21mm rail on the top, which ensures perfect stability and overall appearance. A sighting device can optionally be mounted on this rail. To make aiming at targets easier, a green fiber optic sight is already attached to the rear area at the factory.
The lightness of the bolt and short action system give the user adequate recoil and are ideal for multiple shots on target, not only in tactical scenarios but also in sporting competition.
For maintenance or cleaning work, the AAP-01C, like its predecessor, can be easily and quickly disassembled into its main components. This is done by pressing a button on the back. Then simply fold the upper housing upwards and pull it off towards the front.
