Product description

If you are a gun lover, you should know the “Noveske” brand. Noveske Rifleworks LLC was founded in 2001 by John Noveske, a US-based company best known for manufacturing small firearms and parts thereof.

Noveske Rifleworks airsoft replica, which was created through the merger of the two well-known airsoft companies APS Airsoft and EMG (Evike Manufacturing Group). While APS was responsible for the development of the rifle, EMG made sure that the airsoft replica was also worthy of a Noveske Rifleworks license. The result is the fully licensed and very high quality airsoft model of the sharp Gen. 4 Shorty 7.94 inch rifle.

In addition to the Noveske Rifleworks licensing and the very high-quality manufacturing, the airsoft version is also equipped with the new eSilver Edge Gearbox. In addition to many reinforced parts, this gearbox is equipped with an SDU V2.0 microchip with MosFet (similar to G&G ETU series). The two components control the electric trigger and stop the power supply in the event of problems to prevent damage to the electronics. The semi-automatic firing drive with the components installed ex works achieves a firing power of up to 1.2 joules.

The outer barrel of the APS Noveske Shorty Gen. 4 is one-piece and made entirely of aluminum. The aluminum handguard comes in the fully licensed Noveske Rifleworks NSR design and is approximately 9.75 inches long. Due to the license, the original logos are in the correct places and are deeply engraved. The modern M-LOK mounting system with three angles allows various accessories to be attached - e.g. a front handle or rail covers from the aftermarket.

The two main housing parts are made of aluminum and are very detailed and robust and feature the special Noveske design. Thanks to the license, all Noveske Rifleworks logos and lettering are in their designated places. The magwell built into the lower housing, which acts like a kind of funnel, makes magazine changes easier and faster. An EMG variant is used for the handle. This is made of polymer composite plastic and is very easy to grip thanks to the integrated structure and the raised beavertail.

As already mentioned above, the Noveske Shorty Gen. 4 is equipped with the current eSilver Edge Gearbox. APS needed a considerable amount of development time for the first gearbox with complete microchip control manufactured by APS Airsoft. The specially developed SDU microchip control unit is responsible for the control - here in version 2.0. In the event of problems within the gearbox, such as a gear defect, short circuit, etc., this switches off the power supply to the motor so that no further damage can occur. After the problem has been resolved, a reset is carried out by unplugging and plugging in the battery.

The eSilver Edge gearbox housing itself was completely reinforced by APS. Furthermore, the case was completely polished so that friction on the internal parts is as low as possible. 8 mm metal bearings, a steel gear set and an aluminum nozzle also ensure reliable shooting function. A ball-bearing piston head and spring guide are also standard. The built-in piston is equipped with a complete row of steel teeth, which ensures reliable function. In order to achieve greater precision compared to many other manufacturers, a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel is also installed ex works. To improve the hit pattern, the rifle series is equipped with a one-piece metal hop-up system.
