The second generation of ASG steel ball bearings was developed to deliver the accuracy, high speed and high rigidity required for the demanding conditions in a modern, upgraded AEG.

Characteristics:

- The curvature in the bearing race has been optimized to accommodate the continuous impact of the piston in an AEG.

- 7 balls were chosen which offer less centrifugal force from each ball compared to the larger 6 ball version = less heat and raceway wear at high speeds.
