The body and the new M-Lok handguard are made of glass-fiber-reinforced polymer, reducing weight while ensuring high durability. The outer barrel and stock tube are made of metal, providing additional strength. Ambidextrous controls, including the magazine release, make the weapon ideal for both right- and left-handed users. Two QD slots and traditional attachment points allow for the attachment of slings.
The CM16 BATTO features a 14 mm CCW barrel thread, allowing the installation of silencers, muzzle devices, or tracers. It is also equipped with folding, dual fiber optic sights that can be adjusted as needed. The adjustable hop-up unit can be easily adjusted thanks to the functional bolt-catch system.
The heart of the replica is a Version 2 MIG gearbox system with MOSFET preparation and a genuine quick-change spring system. This allows the spring to be changed with the included tool without disassembling the stock tube. The gearbox is made of metal and equipped with 8 mm bearings and durable metal gears.
