The body and the new M-Lok handguard are made of glass-fiber reinforced polymer, reducing weight while ensuring high durability. The outer barrel and stock tube are made of metal for added strength. Two QD slots and standard sling attachment points allow for the attachment of carrying straps.

The CM16 BATTO features a 14mm CCW threaded barrel, allowing for the mounting of suppressors, muzzle devices, or tracers. It is also equipped with foldable, dual fiber optic sights that can be adjusted as needed. The adjustable hop-up unit can be easily fine-tuned thanks to the functional bolt-catch system.

The heart of the replica is a MIG version 2 gearbox system with MOSFET preparation and a genuine quick-change spring system. This allows the spring to be changed using the included tool without disassembling the stock tube. The gearbox is made of metal and equipped with 8mm bearings and durable metal gears.
