Mid-cap magazines require special preparation before first use. The necessary steps are:

- The magazine should not be fully loaded with BBs on first use.

- Before first use, the magazine should be oiled with silicone oil for better function.

- On first use, the magazine should be loaded with a few BBs and then emptied. After that, the magazine SHOULD be loaded with 10 more BBs than the first time and then emptied. This process should be repeated until the magazine is full.

- Remember: If the magazine is to be stored, it must be empty.

- Remember to regularly oil the magazine with silicone oil.
