The new Taginn AFG-6 paintball and airsoft training grenade is a cost-effective alternative to previous models. Like the other models, the Taginn AFG-6 features a realistic trigger mechanism and convincingly authentic handling and function.
What makes this model special is its manufacturing process. Experienced users will immediately notice the subtle differences compared to the Taginn R2B grenade series. While the AFG-6 uses the same fuse and propellant charge, its casing is significantly simpler in design and made of inexpensive cellulose material (papier-mâché). This makes it approximately 20% cheaper than previous Taginn airsoft grenade models.
Otherwise, this grenade functions like a real hand grenade, only in a weakened form. It was specifically developed for use on paintball and airsoft fields and is ideal for flushing opponents out of foxholes or as a "door opener" before entering a room.
The AFG-6 fragmentation grenade is triggered like a real grenade: simply grip the grenade and the trigger firmly, pull the safety pin, and throw the grenade. Releasing the safety lever triggers the grenade, and it explodes after a delay of approximately 3.5 seconds, just like the real thing.
