The new PowAir Mobile Air Source System Filling Station (MASS) is a mobile 200 bar filling station, suitable for all 300 bar HP bottles and enables small 200 bar Air-Stock HP systems to be refilled directly in the field.
To do this, the PowAir MASS filling station is simply screwed into the largest possible 300 bar HP bottle like a normal HP regulator, which then acts as a compressed air reservoir. The small Air Stock HP systems in the shoulder rests of MagFed markers or airsoft weapons can then be quickly and easily refilled directly on the field. The so-called supporter in the team simply carries the bottle with the PowAir MAS filling station with him and all players who have used up their air supply can get refills from him.
We recommend bottles with a size of at least 1.5 to 2 liters for optimal results.
The special regulator of the PowAir MASS filling station has a standard thread for all common HPA bottles and is screwed in like a normal HPA regulator. The output pressure is 200 bar / 3000 PSI, which corresponds to the filling pressure of the small 200 bar HP systems. The large wheel on the side of the regulator is responsible for the on/off function. This is used to open and close the regulator. Because the output pressure of the regulator is extremely high at 200 bar / 3000 PSI and would immediately destroy the inner workings of any normal marker, it has been designed so that it cannot be accidentally screwed into a paintball marker or an airsoft gun. Instead of a thread, the regulator therefore has a closed cap on the top.
The hose that goes off to the side is the so-called fill hose. It has a quick coupling and is connected directly to the filling nipple to fill the HP system - just like a normal filling station on the pitch.
The pressure gauge allows you to read the current filling or working pressure. To ensure maximum safety, the Powair Mobile Air Source also has burst disks that protect against overpressure.
This is how the PowAir Mobile Air Source System filling station works:
Preparing the system
1. Screw the Powair MAS Regulator tightly into the desired 300 bar HPA cylinder.
2. Now fill the 300 bar bottle with the firmly screwed-in MAS regulator (up to 300 bar)
The filling station is now filled and ready for use.
Using the system
1. Connect the filling hose to the filling nipple of the HP system to be filled by pulling back the quick coupling.
2. Check whether the filling hose is locked into the filling nipple and is firmly seated.
3. Turn/open the On/Off wheel on the regulator until you hear air start to flow.
4. Wait until the HP bottle to be filled is completely full.
5. Close the On/Off wheel again and bleed the system.
6. Disconnect the quick coupling of the filling hose from the filling nipple.
The filling process is now complete.
Scope of delivery of the PowAir Mobile Air Source filling station:
1x PowAir MAS filling station regulator with 200 bar / 3000 PSI output pressure
1x PowAir MAS filling station Fill Hose / filling hose with quick coupling (already installed)
1x Seal kit for PowAir MAS regulator and filling hose quick coupling (contains the most important seals for repair)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. In order to completely fill a 200 bar / 3000 PSI bottle, there must always be sufficient pressure in the large storage bottle at the filling station. If the pressure in the storage bottle falls below 3000 PSI, then of course no more 200 bar / 3000 PSI can be transferred into the small bottles. The maximum pressure in the storage bottle corresponds to the maximum pressure in the filled HP system.
2. All 300 bar bottles can also be filled with this filling station. However, filling only takes place until the pressure is equalized between the two HP systems!
