With the VMP-1, Vorsk Airsoft is launching a very interesting airsoft GBB replica in 6mm BB caliber. The SMG is based on a very stable polymer construction and its handy dimensions combined with the efficient gas blow-back drive ensure perfect action on the field. In addition to the now large series of back-up pistols, the English manufacturer is expanding its range further towards sub-machine guns with the VMP-1. The stock on the VMP-1 is held securely in position by a stable aluminum hinge with a locking spring. The non-slip structured stock cap is particularly interesting. This is spring-loaded and can be adjusted by 15° to the left and right. In order to keep the VMP-1 as light as possible, the upper and lower main housing are made of polymer composite plastic. Thanks to the stable and at the same time lightweight plastic material, Vorsk Airsoft was able to achieve a total weight of just 1.8 kg for this SMG. A special aluminum flash hider is attached to the front of the muzzle. The VMP silencer included in delivery can be mounted on this using a quick-release fastener. The side aluminum rails with a length of approx. 75 mm can be attached in two different places on the left and right.
To improve the shot pattern, the VMP-1 GBB is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system. The hop-up unit is adjusted using the key provided inside the side case ejection window. The cocking lever must be held at the back or locked using the side bolt catch. The factory-installed inner barrel is specified by the manufacturer as having an inner diameter of 6.03 mm and ensures very good shooting performance. The VMP-1's firing system itself consists mainly of metal parts inside and is therefore very reliable. Should a system part ever become leaky, the SMG conveniently comes with a complete sealing kit with loading nozzle.
To ensure a long service life of the seals and valves on the magazine and rifle, they should be treated frequently with silicone oil.
