The M1911 Tactical is a full-metal, semi-automatic replica of one of the world's most iconic pistols. It was created with the goal of improving upon some key features of the 1911 series pistols while maintaining the iconic look.

The most important improvements are effective grooves on the slide, highly visible iron sights, an ambidextrous safety lever, a Picatinny rail under the barrel, and threads in the barrel. The external construction is almost entirely metal – only the grip panels are made of plastic.
